Responsible for organizing and administering professional individualized care to patients with multiple issues; medical, trauma and psychiatric. Knowledge in caring for cardiac patients: assessment, rapid intervention and thrombolytic treatments. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and currently licensed to practice in the state of Washington. Current BLS and ACLS required and to keep current. Rehabilitation Services. Provides professional physical therapy services to all age ranges under a physician’s prescription to a population of both inpatients (covers inpatients 1 weekend/month and 1 holiday/year and outpatients with physical disabilities resulting from injury, disease or surgery. Resolve account balances on all insurance balances. Responsible for all aspects of financial resolution with the insurance company up to and including contacting the patient for help with resolution. Performs insurance verification, insurance follow-up and overall A/R Management. Special projects as assigned by manager. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. #13-41 Medical Records Accredited Coder (1.0) FTE M-F 8am to 4:30pm
Reviews clinical documentation and diagnostic results as appropriate to extract data and apply appropriate ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 codes for billing, internal and external reporting, and regulatory compliance. Under the direction of the Manager of Medical Record Service, accurately code inpatient and outpatient conditions and procedures as documented in the ICD-9-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting. Resolve error reports associated with billing process identify and report error patterns, and, when necessary, assist in design and implementation of workflow changes to reduce billing errors. Requires Associate’s degree and (5) five years of hospital based coding experience using ICD-9-CM, CPT and HCPCS. RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification status required. The incumbent is expected to enroll in continuing education courses to maintain certification. PD 02/08/13 EOE
#13-26 Lab Assistant Per Diem
Assumes responsibility for obtaining blood from patients by venipuncture, toe, heel or finger sticks in a variety of collection tubes or capillaries, some of which contain preservatives or anticoagulants. Performs a wide variety of regular and recurring accounting functions requiring full professional competency. Prepares various billings, reconciles subsidiary and general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, assists with payroll preparation as needed. Performs environmental services for a 72 bed acute care hospital and associated clinical spaces. Adheres to the hospitals philosophy of care contributing to a health and healing environment. High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one year experience in commercial, non-residential cleaning preferred. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. #13-56 Chemical Dependency Professional/Trainee Per Diem, Rotating shift as needed, On-Call
Counseling and case management of adult patients in a residential CD setting. Under clinical supervision of a Certified Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) provides counseling and program treatment to patients in adult and geriatric age groups and their families who have alcoholism and other chemical addictions. Completion of/or current enrollment in basic course work for Chemical Dependency Professional certification. Chemical Dependency Trainee for the State of Washington. Demonstrated excellent clinical skills and knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures in the assessment, treatment and care of patients in a variety of age groups, including, adult and/or geriatric. #13-55 Diet Aide Per Diem
Serves food to retail customers and maintains café cleanliness. Delivers and picks up food carts at designated times. Performs dishwashing and cleaning duties according to established procedures. Assists in unpacking and storing stock following HACCP guidelines. Under supervision, may assist with food preparation by preparing ingredients for additional completion by Cook. Prepares or assists in Patient tray assembly and delivery. Previous experience in food service preferred. Current Food Handlers’ card or card obtained within 2 weeks’ of employment. #13-54 Controller (1.0) FTE
Responsible for the management and maintenance of general accounting systems to provide records of the assets, liabilities, and financial transactions of the hospital. Supervises either directly or indirectly all accounting activities, including payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, and budgeting. Prepares cost analysis data for and participates on Hospital Services Committee. Performs internal audit functions for the hospital. Develops policies and procedures for the accounting department as well as the overall financial operations of the organization. Assists the Chief Financial Officer in preparation of special projects. Acts as primary liaison between the department and all other areas in the organization and external auditors. Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required; Master’s degree or CPA desirable but not required. #13-60 Certified Hand Therapist (.6) FTE, Days, Flexible Schedule!
Rehabilitation Services. The CHT is a registered, licensed skilled therapist who provides evaluation, goal setting, treatment planning, and one-to-one therapy utilizing hand therapy techniques for patients. Assumes responsibility for functioning actively as a member of the interdisciplinary team and participation in the unit's community referral development program. Requires a B.S. degree in occupational therapy/physical therapy from an AOTA accredited program or an APTA accredited program. A certification as a hand therapist from HTCC. Successful completion of fieldwork experience to meet state licensure regulations. Current CHT and NBCOT certifications and CPR required. Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of hand therapy techniques and procedures, including splinting, in the care of patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Knowledge in the use of clinical and adaptive equipment. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in the English language. Bi-lingual preferred. PD 5/10/13 EOE
#13-63 CT/Radiology Technologist (.875) FTE, 7on/7off Nights 9p-7a includes alternate weekends
Provides technical services to the Imaging Department in the performance of CT scan examinations. Participates in daily maintenance functions in the CT Department. Works in the main Radiology Department as required. Rotates call service support with CT staff, . Prepares contrast for administration, checks for errors before booting scanners, and selects appropriate default file or scan prescription. Utilizes proper patient identification procedures prior to doing the exam; performs patient care duties as needed while patient is under Imaging Service's care. Ensures that physician orders are obtained and appropriate. Requires current WA State RT license, ARRT registration and CPR. Previous CT experience strongly preferred. PD 5/10/13 EOE

Assumes responsibility for all financial aspects of the patient account. Performs insurance verification, billing, insurance follow-up and overall A/R management. Assists patients with accounts. Emergency Services Tech/ HUC. Assist physicians and nursing with direct patient care activities. Assumes responsibility for providing direct patient care as delegated by RN. Ability to communicate and interact with a large variety of peers, physicians, patients are families and pre-hospital providers. Performs clerical, phone, order entry, types discharge information. Requires High school or equivalent, EMT, MA, NAC or NAR. Additionally, must be HCA-A certified within (4) months of hire. Previous work experience in ED as HUC or Tech preferred. #13-67 Pharmacy Technician (.5) FTE Sat/Sun 7a-3:30p, Mon 8a-4:30p
Performs a variety of technical and clinical duties involved in providing medication to patients in a safe, timely and rational manner. Drug distribution duties include ensuring the timely and quality delivery of medication boxes, processing new orders and stat orders to meet predetermined standards. Performs order entry with pharmacist verification. Team responsibilities include quality improvement, unit inspections with some data collection from patient charts. Documents all problems reported with distributive functions, noting the incident, those involved and action taken. High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of two years of college or technical training in a certified technician training program. Maintain licensure as required by State of Washington. Per diem opportunity to provide coverage for staff technologist time off. Graduate of a NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
