#11-99 Hospitalist (1) FTE
Hospitalist physician specializes in the practice of inpatient medicine with an emphasis on the coordination and management of all aspects of inpatient care. Provides attending and consultative services for a broad variety of adult inpatients (ages 16 and up) including sub-acute, acute and intensive levels of care. Dedicated to providing the highest standard of compassionate, skillful medical care possible to each patient. Will be an active participant in the development and evaluation of clinical practice. Must be capable of managing an average of 15 encounters per shift, triaging care based on acuity while maintaining the appropriateness of care and communication. M.D., D.O. in Internal or Family Medicine with full medical licensure in Washington. Maintain active Board certification (or obtain within 2 years of hire). Full, unrestricted prescriptive authority, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast paced environment. #11-100 Manager Diagnostic Imaging (1) FTE
Assumes responsibility for maintenance of standards as applicable and development of innovative approaches toward improvement of services provided. Develops and institutes plans aimed at coordination of imaging services. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required. Bachelor of Science preferred Current BLS certification required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must. National Incident Management System (NIMS) healthcare certification required. Functional with designated radiation emitting, processing and record retrieval equipment. Ensures that quality diagnostic laboratory services are delivered to all patients in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures, and program plans of the hospital. Participates in Quality Improvement and Quality Control. Maintains department administration including scheduling and maintenance of supplies and equipment. #11-109 Emergency Department Manager (1) FTE

#12-002 Clinical Educator (1) FTE
Assesses, plans, coordinates, implements, monitors, and evaluates a comprehensive educational and training program for Valley General Hospital to ensure that it enhances professional development and promotes the delivery of cost-effective, high quality healthcare. Duties are focused on nursing, however duties also encompass other clinical areas that may include Imaging, Lab, Pharmacy, Physical and Respiratory Therapies, Clinics, Behavioral Health Services and other clinical or ancillary services. Current licensure in WA as a Registered Nurse is required as is a minimum of 10 years experience in a broad scope of acute care hospital practice. Previous experience as a clinical educator is desired. Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. BLS required; ACLS desired. Individual must possess excellent teaching and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills in the English language are essential. Applies HIPAA privacy and security standards relevant to the assigned job and the clinic. #12-001 IT Assistant (1) FTE Days Mon-Fri
Manage IS Director’s availability and commitments to ensure clear priorities and optimum use of time. Effectively ensure all meetings requiring the IS Director’s attendance have a meeting agenda and target outcomes requiring the IS Director's participation. Prepare IS Director for meetings by creating, gathering, and/or organizing material, identifying key questions to be prepared to answer, and preparing reference material in an effective structure. Provides a positive experience for all those coming into contact with our office and proactively provide exceptional high touch services as appropriate. Creates and manages internal organization systems to improve department effectiveness. Work behind the scenes to solve problems, mediate disputes, and deal with issues before they escalate up to the IT Director including delegating work to other appropriate parties, drafting communications for her review, and personally executing tasks. Regularly answers calls using a multi-line system. Performs clerical duties, schedules cases by coordinating with physicians, patients, staffing, surgery and radiologist. Performs computer skills, and communicates with Manager and other staff members when appropriate. Accurately uses AS400 scheduling system for all scheduling. Schedules procedures according to established parameters. Obtains physician orders for exams and delivers them to the appropriate areas. Coordinates with technologist when adding to the current days’ schedule. Demonstrates knowledge of all procedures and accurately schedules. Responds to voice mail. Typing skill of 35 wpm and knowledge of medical/imaging terminology. Demonstrates knowledge of and skill in the operation of computer, printer, copier, telephone and fax machine.
