#14-33 Manager – Patient Financial Services (1.0 FTE) Salaried position
Develops, coordinates and manages the Business Office and Admitting departments, including registration, scheduling, insurance authorizations, patient account billing, customer service, follow-up, reimbursement, collections and cash posting. Ensures accurate, compliant and timely billing, insurance and self-pay account follow-up. Assures that accounts are reviewed for appropriate determination of charity care, bank loan eligibility and/or referral to an outside collection agency in compliance with hospital policies and procedures and industry regulations. Creates and maintains policies and procedures. Develops operational guidelines and policies for work processes. Recruits, hires, trains, supervises and evaluates staff.
