VGH Health Event to Help During Tough Times
Physician directed seminar and routine lab screenings offered

Monroe, WA – On January 27, Valley General Hospital Foundation Board Members presented Mike Liepman, VGH CEO and Dr. John Bennett, VGH Emergency Department Medical Director with a check for $48,000.

Approximately half of the money will go towards the purchase of much-needed call system for patient rooms in the Emergency Department. The other half will go towards the Foundation’s three-year funding commitment to the VGH Diabetes Program.

The $48,000 was raised by the Foundation, with generous donations from VGH Guild and North Sound Emergency Medicine physicians.

Annually the Joseph Feek Memorial Golf Tournament and Classic Car Raffle continue to help the Foundation meet its goal in supporting “True Community Medicine” at Valley General Hospital.
