Valley General Hospital Opens Internal Medicine Clinic
Dr. Diane Doerner brings practice to Monroe

Monroe, WA – Diane Doerner, MD, PhD, board-certified in internal medicine, will be opening her office in the Sky River Medical Center on the Valley General Hospital campus in August.

Dr. Doerner is leaving her current practice at the University of Washington Medical Center to open the clinic and states that she is very excited about the opportunity to practice in the rapidly-growing Monroe area. She states that she would like to focus on providing comprehensive medical care for the adult patient, as well as offering community education sessions on topics such as diabetes, heart failure, weight management, and preventative health care.

“We are very pleased that Dr. Doerner is joining our medical staff and starting a Valley General Hospital Internal Medicine Clinic,” says Mark Judy, Valley General Hospital CEO. “Dr. Doerner is a well-liked physician who is highly thought of in her field. Dr. Doerner received her PhD from the University of New Mexico, her medical degree from the University of Maryland Medical School and completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington, where she currently holds a clinical assistant professorship. During her free time, Dr. Doerner particularly enjoys hiking and gardening.
