Monroe, WA – Valley General Hospital’s specialized Chemical Dependency Treatment Services unit will be moving in December to a new facility across the street from the hospital’s main campus. The Recovery Center move will bring new and expanded services to the already highly successful program.

Please join Valley General Hospital for an Open House on Thursday, December 13 from 1 – 6 p.m. Tours will be provided by Valley General Hospital’s Chemical Dependency Professionals.

The hospital’s Chemical Dependency program is currently licensed for 20 beds, but it is being re-licensed with the new facility to expand upwards to 40 beds. “The new facility will help us better serve our patients,” states David Anderson, Program Manager and Chemical Dependency Professional. “Chemical dependency and addiction has become a major issue facing our country. Valley General Hospital offers a very specialized program. Patients are referred to our program from all over the state of Washington.”

The program utilizes well-recognized and researched models of treatment/counseling including the Minnesota Model, the Pennsylvania Model, Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), and Relapse Prevention.
