The Recovery Center at VGH is committed to providing high quality care for you as an individual in body, mind and spirit. Recognizing that everything in our environment has an effect on healing, we pledge to create a healing environment and to foster caring relationships for our patients and one another. Rooted in the community for decades the Recovery Center moved to its current location to expand services in early 2008.

The Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment Unit at Valley General Hospital is a comprehensive inpatient program for adults. To make a referral, or for more information, call 360-794-1443. We specialize in psychiatry and specifically neuropsychiatry in adults. The goal of treatment is to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for adults who are experiencing a crisis. The average length of stay is 9 to 12 days.
