The Behavioral Health Unit is a comprehensive inpatient program for adults.
We utilize a multidisciplinary Treatment Team approach. The Team is directed by Dr. Mustafa and includes Physician Assistants, a Case Manager, Psychiatric Nurses and Nursing Assistants and a Pastoral Counselor. Physical Therapists, Pharmacists and Dieticians are also available as needed to the Team. This Team of professionals work together with the patient (and their significant others) to formulate a plan for treatment as well as discharge and aftercare.
Our “therapeutic community” treatment model emphasizes a safe, structured environment where open communication is encouraged, support is offered and which promotes well-being.
