Residential Treatment

Residential TreatmentThe Recovery Center at Valley General Hospital has a 21 day Residential Treatment Program. Each patient admitted will be reserved a room that they will share with another patient. Laundry facilities are available to use during your stay. Linens and towels are provided. Meals and snacks are provided three times a day. Patients have access to the facility phones for making both local and long distance calls.

When the patient enters our program, we will first begin to stabilize the patient who has found it difficult to abstain from use of drugs and alcohol. During this time, the patient will meet with their primary counselor to develop an individualized treatment plan that begins to address the issues that have caused problems for the patient and their family.

While in Residential Treatment the patient will be offered the following:

Other services are available for patients due to our proximity to Valley General Hospital. These services require prior approval by the Medical Director and may include:

  • Psychiatric Consultation
  • Physical Therapy
  • Mental Health Counseling
  • Emergency Room Services
  • Imaging
  • Laboratory testing
  • Medical care if pregnant.
  • Dietician consultation
